Piccini Architect was founded in 1993 by architect Reno Piccini, a graduate of the University of Waterloo. Originally located in Toronto, the practice moved to Port Hope, where it has been serving clients since 1999. The practice has successfully completed a wide variety of project types. Ranging from corporate commercial, high-profile retail, private and public institutional, heritage renovation and restoration, to multi and single-family custom residential projects. Every project is unique and requires services that are tailored to each client’s needs.
Basic architectural consulting services we can provide include:
- Conceptual design and design development of new buildings, additions, renovation or restoration projects.
- Preparation of construction drawings and specifications suitable for building permit application and tendering.
- Tendering services, including preparation of bidding and contract documents, managing the bidding process, bid evaluation, and assistance with award of contract to a general contractor.
- General review during construction of the project, and the review and certification of payments to the general contractor.

- Functional space programming, space planning, feasibility studies and master planning.
- Renderings and virtual modelling.
- Furniture, fixture and equipment layout planning.
- Tenant improvement design drawings.
- Life safety and fire safety upgrades to existing buildings.
